Before you can benefit from this limited warranty, there are a few requirements that you need to complete:

Maintenance Requirements

To take advantage of this limited warranty, you need to maintain the covered components according to the manufacturer's recommendations. You also need to keep a record of all maintenance and repairs of these components as proof of this required maintenance. The order forms or receipts must contain the following information to be considered valid:

• Your name
• Vehicle documentation (year, make, model, etc.)
• Vehicle identification number
• Current vehicle mileage

Maintenance Record Retention:

If you bring your vehicle back to the dealer where it was purchased for maintenance and repairs, the dealer will provide proper maintenance and will properly retain the necessary record,  so you will have everything you need to make use of the limited warranty.

5 Year Inspection:

In order to retain the limited warranty, you need to bring your vehicle back to the dealership where it was purchased for its complementary powertrain inspection once every five years. This inspection has to be completed within sixty days of its five-year inspection anniversary, starting on the day it was first purchased.
